I’m Jade Renée Garnett. I'm a born-and-raised Kentuckian now calling New York City home (the most magical place in the world, if you ask me).

​

I’ve built my career at the crossroads of talent, media, and storytelling. I've worked at WME (William Morris Endeavor), where I represented some of the world’s most inspiring voices, from astronauts and authors to comedians, chefs, and cultural icons, to help them share their stories on stage and with audiences around the world.

​

I also have worked in television at NBC, working behind the scenes at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the TODAY show, MSNBC, and America’s Got Talent. I’ve also produced branded content and live events for lifestyle creators and tech companies, scripted YouTube videos, coordinated marketing campaigns, and supported productions big and small; always with an eye toward creating memorable, meaningful experiences.

I’m also a writer. My essays and freelance work have appeared in Business Insider, TODAY, and various content creator Substacks and blogs, covering everything from design, culture, travel, and the little everyday observations that make life life. 

​

Outside of work, I’m a marathoner, painter, I love cooking a new dish every night, taking improv classes at the People’s Improv Theater, and forever scribbling down new ideas for stories, shows, and creative projects.

​

At the heart of everything I do, whether it’s writing an essay or producing a show, is my love for people and for storytelling. I thrive on collaboration, bringing visions to life, and making sure my days are packed with creativity, joy, and meaning (and delicious food). 

​

My father, a mortician, often reminded me of the em dash between the dates on a gravestone. To him, that simple line wasn’t just a mark in stone, it was a person’s entire life. Every laugh, every tear, every moment lived is contained in that dash. His words stay with me every day: make the dash worthwhile. Live fully, live presently. It’s a promise I’ve made to myself and I'm happy to put that perspective into my work.
